Hi, all,
Allentown is in the process of setting up separate Facebook Group pages for the various possible meet and greets that we are planning. This should help make communication and planning easier and more efficient. It will also allow for multiple greet planning without a lot of confustion. These are not limited to just Allentown employees, and I hope that you will attend if you can, and if you are holding one, that you will let us know. If you are going to plan one in your area, please let me know. These Facebook pages do not have to be hosted under the Allentown Banner. If you set up your own groups, I'll make sure to promote them in this list, to my branch, and through our Facebook Groups as well, since so many of the branches have "commuters", who don't always live in the branch areas, but do live near other DMI employees. Here are the various pages set up so far. Again, please note that these greets are not limited to just Allentown employees. For now the dates are TBA, but where I can, I'll put a general time frame. I'll also appoint a couple of "officers" for each group, so that more than I can update the sites. Feel free to spread the word around. Again, these are just set up tonight, Sunday 1/25, and more info will be added as it is developed. When the dates are posted it'll give me a better window to pick and choose which to go to. NYC is my best pick at the moment. But with a few weeks notice I could probably weasel to Scranton and the Shady Maple place.

I'll be updating the pages tonight, and adding some dates to choose from. If you are interested in any of these, make sure you add them in Facebook.

I've started to set up proposed dates for the Shady Maple and NYC Meets, and the Western PA and Hershey pages will get proposed dates shortly. I am trying to see what we can arrange in Scranton, as well, and when I hear back from a couple of people , I'll let you know. A reminder.
This is open to anyone who wants to attend. We are set for Shady Maple om March 7 at 5 PM. For those who cannot make it, I can join you on March 14th, as well, if you want to double dip. Also, we've started to build the NYC plans. I am going to ask OLC to try to get us some NBC ticket, if they are available. And, we need to start planning the Hersheypark trip, to get the best hotel rooms. Elsewhere, you will find plans for Washington DC and Savannah GA. You'll also find the final planning for the Western PA Greet there as well. -------------------- |
