This has been discussed a lot in the past few days (probably buried somewhere in all these posts and you missed it). It is unsure if we will have favorites back or not. It is listed in one section of the manual, but not in another. My advice, not that you asked, is to earn your affinity Sbs by getting out and mingling with people in the forum instead of updating your favorite section 20 times. You'll earn Sbs for your posts and probably make some new friends in the process! By the way, nice to meet you abigail99!

Awww, come on everyone! Is posting in the forum really that bad? Everyone is complaining about not being able to click save 20 times. If you've been here since 2.0 and have less than 20 posts next to your name that means you don't even mingle with your own branch! You're missing out on a lot of fun. These branches are filled with great people. So get out from behind your desk (a.k.a your "favorites") and find a new aspect of DMI. Trust me, you'll like it.
I'm going to be the mean girl here and say good for OLC if the favorites section really is gone for good! It's time to make people earn their Sbs.....and have fun doing it!

I miss the favorites too! And I am not one of those people who never posts (though I like posting in my branch forum a hell of a lot better than in this one... it's so big and intimidating!). There are certain weeks when I don't have time to go through all the posts and reply to them, and then yes, I click save 20 times. Otherwise, I just really like being reminded of my favorite quotes and episodes whenever I look at my desk!

I can't believe Corporate is forcing me to mingle with.....you people! jk haha I really miss my favorites box. I don't post on the main forums much, but I posted in my branch forum a lot. I liked changing my favorites until I got 100 Sb's and then just posting on the forum whenever the discussion was good and not worrying about the Sb's. But now it's like "ok I've gotta go to the forum and try to force conversation so I can get all of my Sb's." Ok, sorry that sounded mean. It's not that I don't want to talk to people in the forum, it's just that I don't always have something to say, so it's going to take a lot longer to get my affinity bucks. Plus, I really liked displaying my favorite show and quote on my page.

You can join in! Go to the break room and stop by Jade and Kristi's snack stand for a weekly snack, or stop by Omom's office to say hi. Or find a fun thread in Off topic and join in there. Or, if you have something about the Office that you love and want to talk about, stop by the Office on TV. There's always some discussion to jump into, don't worry about being new. Just have fun and explore. We're all pretty nice here, we don't bite...at least most of us don't.
