 Jim's New Office, Where did this mysterious area come from? |

In the new episode, we can see exactly where Jim's new office is, ut has it always been there? I don't remember there being a random unused office-like space in the back. Does anyone know anything?

It definately wasnt there before he got his promotion, I think they must have built it just for him. I couldn't imagine Michael being happy if he had to share his office!

Yeah, it looks brand new. I think it's a bit awkward within the layout of the whole office. I'm sure he misses sitting by Pam.

yeah to me, it looks like they ditched the two extra desks behind creed, and put up new glass partitions to make him a closed office. I didn't notice if there were still the extra desks back there, but with creed being right in front of meredith, and if she didn't move (being w/ her back to accounting), there was un-used space

Ok, so I totally wondered the same thing. Darren used to sit there....until he got fired....and he didn't have his own office...
ALSO if dunder mifflin is cutting back on unnecessary spending why would they build him an office....give him kelly's nook or set him up in the conference room with an inexpensive room divider....seriously :s haha --------------------  Regional Manager-Oshkosh |

ya the desk really threw me, especially since they didnt talk about it or anything. creed must have his own little private corner now lol. its kind of awkward though, i dont really like it.

well since kelly does QA you have to keep her away from everyone, as well as Toby, but Ive never seen an HR person sit in an open area, Toby should have a private space for councilling, so they should have shifted the conference room to the annex, and built toby and jim an office where the conf room is. that would have put jim and micheal next to each other.
