There are many of you who are waiting to join a branch, but just don't have enough Schrutebucks. Gather here in the FREELANCE BRANCH!!!

I, myself, and shopping my employee around to a welcoming branch.

Allow!

I am currently doing some freelance work myself.

I just earned enough schrutes to join a branch, and am also looking for a place to call home cool.gif

Chimp, if you want to find a branch, check the recruitment threads.

But this is another excellent way for the smaller branches to introduce themselves to the freelancers and invite your to visit their branch recruitment & branch meet'n greet threads.

For the freelancers who are shopping around. When you post in here you might want to also let folks know what kind of a branch you are looking for - really active branch forum with games and quizzes and weekly contests, or maybe something laid back without any extra fan-fare. Someplace that has a super-secret off-site forum for planning world domination, or a place without anything social going on beyond the DMI site. Or perhaps something in the middle.

The other advantage of posting inside the existing Meet 'n Greet threads? You get $5 sb towards your weekly Affinity for every post. smile.gif

Take this test to see what branch you should join.

HAHAHAHA! Love a rigged test (all results will show the same branch). At least it wasn't a Rick Roll.

This is such a good idea! I'm considering joining the Waterloo branch, as it is close to where I go to school. I am, however, open to ideas!

I don't quite have enough SB to join a branch yet, but that will hopefully change soon!

As kona said above, check out the branch recruitment and the meet and greet threads. Then, go with your gut. Everyone has a reason why they picked their branch, as will you. Whatever branch you pick, you can change your mind and transfer too. Some people pick a branch and stay there and others bounce around a bit. The nice thing is, you can do what you want once you have your 2k. It's a game, have fun with it.

I am also thinking of what branch to join when I reach 2000, and posting here will give me more Sbs to hasten the process!

PLEASE use the Rec Room forum to spam for $bs! Let's keep this thread on topic - a DISCUSSION about the merits and downsides of being freelance. And a gathering place for those not sure of what branch affiliation they wish to acquire.

It's kinda fun being freelance at the moment, I've had a bunch of people from different branches warmly welcoming me and trying to draft me to their branch laugh.gif But I'll be happy to get into a branch once I cross over the $2000 mark! Still not sure exactly where I wanna go, lots of branches look like fun!

I shall discuss how I will not be joining the Elizabeth, NJ branch because its RM accused me of spamming a thread when I believe I added to the discussion by saying I was thinking of which branch to join. Which is something that posters both above and below me also said.

She didn't actually accuse you of spamming, I think. She just said if you ARE going to spam for bucks, use the spam TOPIC to earn SBs, rather than posting in here for your weekly gain.

^^^^ that's funny! Thanks for the warning! Sujetapapeles, I love your sense of humor about the situation.

BTW (and I'm being serious here) - I have no idea what your name is...or even how to pronounce it, but it's interesting. Is it French or Spanish?

There is a lack of freelance people posting in here laugh.gif

I am curious as to how those who have yet to choose what branch they want will decide and if anyone is considering being freelance for much longer?

I myself wouldn't mind roaming awhile longer....but if the next task has rewards at the branch level, I don't want to miss out! unsure.gif

Is this really going to turn into another "Join my branch" thread?

Tip: When making a thread that has good potential, don't include the following - "So let me know which branch I should join". Otherwise, everyone jumps on that.

Maybe it's symbolic to his sexual identity frustrations while being with Nsync.
