As I had mentioned last month, I think NBC pulled everything in-house this year. If I am correct, the branch and employee pages were actually from an outside company, but it looks like they are new versions of these housed at nbc.com itself.
That might explain why things are being rolled out one by one, to make sure that it works.

I am telling you it is just DMI's way of trying to take you down. I would watch out for other mob signs. Afterall NBC did bring back Jay Leno for all 10 primetime TV.
