I enjoyed it! Especially the explanation on the bike picture.
So lame! You can tell that Ryan is seriously up his own ass.
And I didn't realize in Double Dating that Kelly was naked in this pic and he was basically asking Erin to do the same.

I think its really funny how Ryan seems to get fired and re-hired so many times. Since B.J Novak is a producer i feel like he just gets bored and is like: Can we take me out of the show for a little and then re-hire me later? i think its hilarious.

The explanations seems like bad excuses for meaning in a photography class. You're just taking pictures of the things around you due to their ease, but you come up with some made-up life lesson or message to make it seem like it's more important than just "kid on a bike."

yes this is just ryan being ryan, but it is also a shot at photographers who do this exact thing.
I was into photography for some time (and still am, somewhat) and I know tons of people who write descriptions just like this for photos just like that.
You have to understand, everything I did, I did for the Island!!

Yeah, that was exactly what it was like for me when I studied photography in HS and college (nearly ten years ago already - yikes!). I miss doing a lot of it, but unfortunately SLR technology has seemingly passed me by. Would love to get back into it so I can write more falsely profound captions.
What type of photog work did/do you do, Temp?

well mainly b & w film, so that digital SLR kinda takes the fun out of it for me (i absolutely LOVED the darkroom) although those SLR's are mean pieces of machinery
but yeah, my focus was on nature photog.
Got into photoshop for a bit too and did some abstract stuff.
B&W is still my fav though. Any chance I get to get into the darkroom i bring a roll I've shot so I can get some pictures done. Havent been able to get a darkroom for a few months now though, kinda sad as I have a roll I really want to get developed.
what about you Mike?

Mostly B&W as well. As I said, I did all my photo stuff during HS and college so it was just whatever assignments we had to do. I didn't have a car then, so it was mostly trying to find things around me that could be expressive, which was a little hard to do. I also took some shots when I thought I wanted to do film production to set up the cinematography.
I loved reeling the film and making prints in the darkroom - never enjoyed developing the film since it took such a long time. Wish I could have gotten into Photoshop since I have always enjoyed photomontages and surrealism. Scott Mutter is one of my favorite photographers.
If only I could afford a digital SLR!

yeah mine was mostly assignments too, but i've done a little bit beyond then
my favorite photographer is Ansel Adams. He has done some A-MAZE-ING nature stuff.
I'm with you on the digital SLR, that would totally get me back into photography if I could afford one.

From Ryan's Twitter (and Kelly's):
Don’t look at my photography blog (http://bit.ly/a3JL) if you’re not willing to engage in some serious self-reflection.

@veRY_ANgelic That photo was private, u told me only u and ur friends would ever see it!
10:30 AM Nov 6th from web
@IAmKellyFierce That photo was my observation on women, sex, work & society! I made u into a work of art! Besides u signed a release.
10:11 AM Nov 6th from web
@IAmKellyFierce Fine, as much as it pains me to deprive the public my work, I’ll take it down
11:01 AM Nov 6th from web
@veRY_ANgelic No, that’s not necessary...The damage has already been done. Keep it up if u must.

Tweeting is an art and sometimes less is more. Minimalism. I’d expand on that thought, but...

My favorite was the caption for Where Will the Children Play. As a graphic design student I recently took a photography class and my teacher hated it when people would intentionally over expose thier pictures./ Ryan cracks me up. He has definitely grown on me over the years.
