At what stages of promotion do you get new desks? I'm an Accountant now and haven't had a new desk in quite a while... I was hoping I'd get one with this last promotion but it's still the same wooden one.

I've read the Manual, and it is very vague on this point. It says employees with be rewarded with a new desk at certain intervals, but it doesn't list those intervals.

Is there a super-secret manual page detailing this?

There is a search function at the top of the forums that one can use to search for topics in relation to this. As I recall there is a specific thread in Gen Discussion for this very purpose.

LOL Thanks you guys for all the help. I was just curious and couldn't find the answer in the manual. I didn't even think to search the forum Jade but I'll try to remember that as an option next time I stumble onto something I don't know.

Well well, here we are smack in the middle of DMI 3.0, and I have one question:
Why don't we get new desks when we get promoted????

Back in 1.0 we got a new desk about every other time we got promoted. 3.0 is supposed to be sooo much better, faster, more user friendly....sooooo where are the new desks????

I wish I could help. I've had the same RM desk since I ran Nuneaton into the ground in DMI 1.0.... ....the nerve of these people!

I think the new desks are every 2 or 3 promotions, not every single one.

Temps started out with piece of crap desk (metal) and crappy walls. I think the third desk is the wood panel office you have now.

My desk is slowly getting better! It has changed today for sure and I finally bought stuff.

ive never received a new desk...accountant with the same metal one i had all last season, too--the one with the damaged end. sheesh!
