MAYBE it was my inner Kristi saying "gimme some AFC beisch"

I used to like mine with blueberries and whipped cream or I would take two thin pieces and make a sandwich with peanut butter. Both were very good. I don't eat that anymore though, *SIGH*

Fondue
(What kind do you like and what do you use to dip?)
FutureMrsKrasinski
Dec 10 2008, 08:47 AM

I absolutely adore fondue. I've done bread dipped in melted cheese, and various fruits dipped in melted chocolate. YUM

It's been forever since I've had it though...like since I lived at home. So at least 5 years. YIKES! Momma better be bustin' out the fondue set when I'm home, b/c I miss it

I've been to the Melting Pot. While I love the appetizer fondue (bread and veggies dunked in a beer/cheese dip) and dessert (fruit and chocolate...hello? anything better than that?), I don't particularly care for the main course. They bring the raw proteins, veggies, etc. out and you can batter them or leave them as is and you cook your own meal. Maybe I'm just an impatient pig but I don't want to go OUT to dinner and then have to cook my own meal. Plus, when you leave you smell like a french fry fryer.
So, appetizer or dessert....Melting Pot is great, dinner, not so much.
JadeCorsett
Dec 10 2008, 09:41 AM
I agree, the main course there isn't all that great. They should just stick to keeping the fondue their central theme without all the add-ons. I like the seductive ambiance though.
