I think this is it for a while. Until we have earned enough SB's to re-apply to our branches, we need to congregate in the main forum. Look for your friends in the recruitment forum and the meet 'n greet forum. Don't give up, 3.0 is on its way!

There will be a big sign that says, "3.0 will start eventually ... so go to bed, nerds".

but we'll get there eventually. would you rather they open 3.0 with bugs? or 3.0 with no problems, running clean and smooth? although I could be wrong and when they open it later, it could still have bugs. But I can hope, right?

I'm a little disappointed that I can't see my desk yet but loved the season opener of The Office! I also think it's funny how so many DMI elders predicted what would happen. A rush of people, then disappointment but only the late nighters will dance through the halls while everyone else sleeps... Where is MissFeFe anyways?

For me, I'm not anxious about seeing one specific thing, ie; desks, but I'm more anxious for corporate to just follow through with their plans. When 2.0 was starting, we knew much more of what was to happen then we do for 3.0.

I completely understand the uneasy feeling that RM's must be feeling. I'm just hoping that the chaos will be worth it in the end. Fingers crossed to a improved 3.0 season!

Waiting for 3.0 to open up. Do we keep our desks or start over? We start over with zero SB right?

We keep all of our desk items, but we will all start over as temps with some sort of temp desk. We'll all start at 1000 SB, and then have to earn another 1000 before we can join a branch.

Call me crazy, but didn't the letter from OLC say that the forums would be up and running (which they are), our branch forums closed (which they are) and that we're supposed to mingle and get to know one another in the recruitment forums for "a few weeks" until 3.0 launches???? Did I read that wrong???

Branches and Regional Managers will not come into play for the first few weeks of DMI 3.0. IMPORTANT NOTE: While your branch and RM forums will be gone temporarily, they will remain intact and everything will be as you left it when you eventually return to them.

2. The boards will re-open before the new DMI 3.0 site is live. We encourage all employees to use your branch's "Branch Recruitment" thread to congregate with your former co-workers while your branches remain closed for these first few weeks.

this is all very true, and while she didnt give us a start date for 3.0(i.e. the site, profiles, desks, messaging) we were hoping it would be relatively close to the premiere so that we could get started on earning our 2000 Sb to get in.

thats what we're all anxious for.

The branches will remain closed for the first few weeks, but the site should be open. This would include profiles and tasks so we can earn affinity and task SBs. If the site is closed, there will be no way to earn the SBs required to join branches when they finally open.

I don't have the letter in front of me, but didn't she infer that we'd have our desks at the start and that there would be a new task and opportunitities to start earning our schrutes? I also assumed it'd be at midnight. I think she referenced an email, though, which I haven't gotten yet (and I get all her emails).

Actually, she also said the summer splash winners would be announced "tomorrow", which I think was yesterday (giving the hint that there might actually be a home page).
